SA John Lang enlisted my electronic and technical surveillance expertise which resulted in the review of the case file and the preparation of affidavits to secure court orders to conduct the two gravesite intercepts/surveillances.

In the first surveillance which covered her birthday, I acquired a Bell South telephone pedestal, and SA Mason Schwarz, and I secreted audio/video microwave equipment in it and transmitted the signals to the monitoring post across the street to the Marietta High School.

In the second surveillance which covered the anniversary of her death, SA John Lang and I enlisted the expertise of an Atlanta movie industry prop creator to custom make the "Thomas" headstone to contain a series of marine batteries to support the transmission of the audio/video microwave signals 24/7 to the same monitoring post. The self-contained, all-encompassing covert surveillance tool was later loaned to a Florida law enforcement agency in support of a gravesite surveillance investigation as well.
